Invited by the Photography Department at the Westminster University, in collaboration with The Photographers’ Gallery in London, Yan Wang Preston will be giving a talk at TPG  at 6:30pm on Wednesday 1 May 2024. The overall theme for the serial talks is: Contingencies: Citizens and Photography which refers to photography’s entanglement with political discourse. Having arrived in the UK in 2005 and begun her career as a photographer, this is the first time for Yan will be giving a talk at TPG, which also happens during her solo exhibition Three Easier Pieces at Messums London.
