Dear friends, please join us on the exhibition opening of Paper Geographies at Manchester Central Library, 5-7:30pm on Thursday 20th February. The exhibition brings 12 artists together who use photography to explore the relationships between materiality and place. Yan's contribution will be a series of Red Prints resulted from loading the films back-to-front by mistake during the Mother River project. They're analogue prints, hand-printed by Yan in the colour darkroom and shown for the first time. Yan is very grateful for the financial support by the University of Huddersfield who enabled me to print and frame for the show. The whole exhibition is supported by Manchester School of Art.
