Drawing from her embodied photographic research, Yan Wang Preston will be delivering an online workshop titled as Moving with...'. The serial workshops are organised by the artist Leonora Oppenheim and will be delivered over 5 evenvings in the summer of 2024. To quote from Leonora: 

MOVING WITH… is a 5 week course about using the body as a research tool in creative practice.

For this somatic summer school programme, Leonora Oppenheim will be in conversation with a different groundbreaking guest each week.

Leonora has invited 5 contemporary artists to co-host with her. Each is celebrated for their focus on the expressive body and has generously agreed to share insights and experience of embodiment related to their practice.

These sessions are designed to be practical and participatory. You can expect to learn about each artist’s work while exploring your own embodied creativity. You will be moving and making!
